Born May 25, 1945 in Washington, D.C.
Grew up in South Orange, New Jersey
Was graduated from Deerfield Academy, Deerfield, Massachusetts, 1963
Attended University of California at Berkeley
Was graduated from Westminster Choir College of Rider University, Princeton, New Jersey, 1969
Served in U. S. Army Reserve, 1969-75
Taught vocal and instrumental music in public schools in New Jersey and Vermont, 1969-78
Served in U. S. Army, 1978-82, Heidelberg, Germany, Headquarters U.S. Army Europe
Retired in 2001 as an Associate Finance Manager from AT&T after 18-1/2 years
