LITTLE LULU INDEX, Part 2

 by Jon Merrill

Following is an index of all the stories in the Little Lulu comics from LL 115 (January 1958) through LL 166 (Paris giant, 1962), and is a continuation of my earlier document of the comics through LL 114.  The top line on the same line as the date is a description of the cover.  Titles of stories, as well as one-line plot summaries, follow, as well as number of pages.  I have also indicated my personal ratings of what I think are the best stories, from one star to two stars to three stars.

This index is meant to aid Little Lulu collectors in locating a particular story they remember, so that they can look for the particular issue for their collections.  Note also that there is reprint information, as well as trivia involving first appearances of characters, that sort of thing.

Please let me know by e-mail (jonmerrill@aol.com) if you find any errors or any entry that is incomplete.

Note:  The two most recent issues in this index, LL 165 and LL 166, were giant length but are included in this Little Lulu numbered run.  Starting with LL 167, the look of Little Lulu comics changed a great deal, e.g., the “Lulu’s Diry” logo used since the 1940s stopped with this issue, and the cover logo used since 1954 also stopped.  Most of the next several years through LL 196 consisted of reprints, and an index of those issues is forthcoming on this page.  The Arnold Drake stories started in 1970 with LL 197.
